Plasma lift

Eyelid lift without surgery!

Plasma lift with the Plasma Gun is a fantastic revolutionary treatment for those who, for example. wants to rejuvenate and tighten the skin, lift sagging eyelids without plastic surgery, remove unwanted benign skin conditions, treat inflammation, eczema, etc. What makes this machine unique is partly the patented “tip” which means that it is always kept at the correct distance and each point receives exactly the same amount/strength of plasma resulting in a homogeneous and safe treatment.

Hot, cold and hybrid plasma

When the plasma flash is generated in a focused manner, a controlled damage to the skin is performed so that it contracts and the skin volume is reduced (Hot and Hybrid Plasma) Hot and Hybrid Plasma stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Once the skin is healed after the treatment, a more youthful appearance is achieved. When generated in a diffuse manner, plasma has a healing effect and regenerates the epidermis.

Plasma Gun’s three different diffusion modes master all the properties of plasma to restructure, improve or repair the skin in a non-surgical way. The practitioner chooses the right program for the right indication.

Cold plasma

Plasma Guns specially designed for the cold plasma tip are the first ever to cover a large area. The cold plasma does not feel hot on the skin. It treats and promotes the healing and regeneration of damaged tissue and decontaminates the skin. The treatment can be performed with or without serum. The cold plasma drives large molecules deep into the skin.

Hot and hybrid plasma

The Plasma Gun produces a small plasma flash at its tip. This flash goes from the tip to the skin where it evaporates superficially in a small micromillimeter spot. This superficial point minimizes the skin immediately. Additional points are placed and generate further reduction of the area. It does not develop any kind of current or heat on the skin, nor does the electrode itself get hot. After the treatment, small white dry dots appear on the skin, which are dry skin. These will disappear after about 4 days. 1-2 days after treatment, a swelling may appear. A slight redness appears which can last for up to 4 weeks.

  • Treatment time 1-2 hours (Depends on treatment areas)
  • Durability up to 2 years
  • Pain = Moderate to low
  • Risks = None known with proper aftercare

  • The treatment begins with the application of a numbing cream to the area to be treated. This should last about 30 minutes.
  • The Plasma Gun is used to create small dots in a specific pattern to trigger a tightening reaction.
  • The treatment results in the formation of small dry spots, where crusts are formed that remain for about 3-4 days and then fall off.
  • Slight redness is visible up to 4 weeks. No bleeding is expected.

You make an appointment for a consultation, where we go through how everything works; if you are taking any medication or have recently taken antibiotics, blood thinners, acne medication, etc. We also need to know if you have had any recent surgery or other aesthetic treatments, and if you suffer from frequent herpes or infections. For fresh facial wounds, a plasma lift cannot be performed.

The skin must be completely healthy to be treated. Skin with active psoriasis, eczema or herpes in the area must not be treated. The skin must not be sunburned. Avoid direct sunlight (do not sunbathe) 48 hours before treatment. Limit your intake of caffeine, painkillers and spicy foods at least 24 hours before treatment. Also, do not consume fish oil in the 48 hours prior to treatment.

Immediately after the treatment, there are small white scabs that turn into light brown dots the next day. The treated area will probably be itchy. This is fine, as it is part of the healing process. However, you must NOT scratch, pick or claw the spots. This can cause scarring and inflammation. We recommend that you half-sit up and sleep the first 2 nights to reduce swelling. There will be varying degrees of swelling over 2-3 days, especially if you have treated your eyes. This is not dangerous. You can take an antihistamine tablet (allergy tablet) to reduce the swelling, and also apply ice (e.g. with a kitchen towel around it) for about 20 minutes and every 2 hours.

Twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, thoroughly clean the area as recommended by the practitioner. After the crusts have fallen off, a new and pink skin will appear. This skin must be protected from direct sunlight with a high sun protection factor, SPF 50, for at least 3 months and use sunglasses if you have treated your eyelids. Exposing the new skin to the sun can cause pigment spots. Swimming and saunas are allowed once all the scabs have fallen off and the wounds have fully healed. Aftercare is very important and must be followed to avoid complications. Since smokers have a slower blood flow, the healing process usually takes longer, so we recommend that you stop smoking before the treatment. Note that when the crusts disappear, the redness may remain around the area for the following weeks/months. It usually takes 2-4 weeks (sometimes longer) for the skin to return to its normal color.

The results of the treatment are very individual and in some cases more treatments may be needed.

Overall, Plasmalyft is a particularly low complication and tissue-enhancing treatment. Skin rashes may appear after a few weeks but are rare. It is very important during these months to avoid the sun and tanning beds. Use of high sun protection is a must, preferably SPF 50. There have been rare reports of hypersensitivity, allergic reactions to local anesthetics, healing problems, skin infections, scarring, slight swelling, redness, stinging, the presence of herpes simplex (bleeding) or depigmentation (whitening) of the skin. If one of these unwanted side effects occurs, it can usually be corrected during post-treatment. Please notify us as soon as signs of an infection such as excessive redness, pus, blisters or thick, yellow crusting, or any other unwanted or unexpected side effect appear during the post-treatment.
